Best of the Green-era FW? You bet This album is a great introduction to the best work of the first incarnation of Fleetwood Mac, usually referred to as âPeter Greenâs Fleetwood Macâ. It was Greenâs idea to name the band after drummer Mick Fleetwood and bass player John McVie so that, if the front-men of the band â including Green himself â were to leave as they usually did, the rhythm section would retain the name.
